As we know Technology plays a vital role in development of the SMEs. A segment being a disorganized sector requires mindset, attitude & technological upgradation, which are the key challenges for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. So looking at the present situation & to provide them a common platform for all engineering solutions, the Science Engineering & Technological Upliftment (SETU) Foundation has been set up.
SETU Foundation is a “section 8″ registered ‘Not for Profit’ Company. The First Project of this company is to develop Common Engineering Facility Center (CEFC) at Bardoli, Surat. The total project cost of CEFC is around INR 50.27 Crore out of which INR 27.81 Crore is the grant from the Department of Heavy Industries (DHI) Ministry of Heavy Industries & public enterprises , Government of India. It is very important for all of us to utilize each peny of the grant in catering positive change for a brighter & better tomorrow locally, nationally & globally.
Since the grant is only INR 27.81Crore, we need to generate balance INR 22.46 crore in the form of donation or contribution from the industry or an individual.
At this stage, I sincerely appeal you to donate & contribute in this first of its kind CEFC project in India for the benefit of future generation.
